What We Do

When it comes to shipping and receiving packages, you may be missing out on money that is rightfully yours. We understand how frustrating it is to receive an important package a day after you needed it, or possibly not at all. In most cases, it is not cost effective for shippers to research late deliveries on their own. This analysis requires a great deal of time and is often too costly for companies to justify spending their time doing. As a result, businesses lose out on money that is rightfully theirs. Unclaimed refunds can easily result in lost revenue equaling tens of thousands of dollars annually. Late Package Recovery (LPR) can take care of these issues for you.

A few things to think about:

  • Refund claims are filed on fewer than 10% of all late packages.
  • Carriers achieve on-time service levels of 94% to 99%
  • More than $1 billion in money-back guarantees are left unclaimed.

Late Package Recovery

LPR has developed a system that automatically audits invoices for late deliveries. LPR’s recovery service analyzes packages shipped from, received by, or billed to a customer’s location. LPR checks all air and ground packages to ensure that each shipment was delivered on time. When a late delivery is identified, LPR will research it and request a refund based on the terms of the carrier’s money-back guarantee.

At LPR, we create detailed reports, itemizing all recovered credits. We offer extensive reporting capabilities that can be tailored to suit a customer’s specific needs. LPR also identifies packages that are lost or lack delivery confirmation, expediting the claim filing process. Regardless of the way you receive your invoices, LPR can work with you to gather your invoice data.

We will also identify any manifest errors. Many times, packages are processed but never actually shipped. If warehouse personnel forget to delete these records from their automated shipping device, customers are still charged for them. We can process the necessary credits for you.

We audit FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS shipments. A minimum shipping activity of 200 packages per week is typical, but exceptions are sometimes made.

Our commitment to you - LPR is committed to serving you in the most effective, efficient way possible. We take the time to understand and address your unique business needs. We work as a part of your team, maximizing your savings and optimizing your parcel shipping performance, bringing back to you the money you deserve.
